Will I be completely cured of my allergies?
80‐90% of the patients thus far treated by NAET and BKT have experienced complete relief from their allergic symptoms to the items for which they have been treated. Most of them report that contact with previously troublesome food or environmental substances no longer cause adverse effects. No one has not been helped to some degree.Of course we cannot give you a guarantee to cure any allergy or disease condition. These are the usual results with the average patient.
How long will it take before I experience this degree of success?
The total length of the treatment program varies greatly from one individual to another, depending upon the number of specific allergies, and the overall intensity of the allergic condition. It may take anywhere from 10 to 25 visits, depending on your condition and the number of allergens that you are allergic to, to note significant results. For best results, usually just one allergen (or one group of closely related allergens) should be identified and cleared per office visit. But remember, when a specific allergen has been ‘cleared’, it is usually permanent.

Does this protocol work on children?
Absolutely, positively yes! Many times I can change the direction the child is going in. I can make a lifetime of changes for them. I can take care of tummy aches, digestive problems, behavior problems in children. One little boy that I took care of… his dad said when he gets into something he’s allergic to he becomes Attila the Hun. After we got done treating him for his allergies, we have this sweet little boy. In fact, his mother told me that when she realized this, she broke down and cried because she has her sweet little boy back again. This is so rewarding to be able to help children, and it is going to make a lifetime of changes for them.
We can help children focus better, pay attention in school better. I’ve had situations where the diagnosis for autism spectrum and ADHD has been dismissed by the doctor after their allergies were cleared. Allergies are super important for kids. It is so rewarding, so satisfying, for a doctor to be able to change children’s lives in such a way. And the thing that is so powerful is that the idea of allergies causing all of these problems or allergies being at the root cause of the problem isn't even on the parent’s radar. Frankly, it’s not even on most doctor’s radar screen. They don’t realize that there is hardly any symptom or condition that isn't either caused, aggravated or accelerated with allergies.
How many sessions does it typically take to clear all allergies?
If you suffer from moderate number of allergies (20 or so) it should take about 20 sessions. I have patients with as few as two allergies and some with as many as 70. The number of allergies, dictates the number of sessions.
Whats the cost for the complete allergy elimination step?
The fee for clearing an allergen depends on the number of allergens you have and is on a sliding fee schedule ranging from $99 to $60 per session. (with the fee becomes less expensive as the number of allergies goes up!) The fee is per allergen, regardless of the number times you have to come in to get it cleared. The fee for children is $60 per allergen. Different payment plans are also available and a 15% discount is offered for plan prepayment. If you have insurance that covers chiropractic and/or acupuncture, paperwork can be supplied for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I don't work with insurance directly.
Do I have the option to work on only some allergies?
No. When I first started doing this (25 years ago) I used to allow that. But I have seen again and again that what people think or believe are their worst allergies, is not always the case. I recently had a patient, who wasn't seeing significant improvement in all her symptoms until we worked on artificial colors for her. While that was not big on her radar, as soon as we got to that, everything became easy for her from then on.
For the best long-term result of the protocol, I only recommend all or none. It does take commitment and time, but it is worth it in the end. Remember, one big allergen or 10 small insensitivities can all add up in the same way.
How long does this ‘clearance’ last?
In our experience, if the clearance is still effective 25 hours after treatment, it is lasting and should be permanent for the
life of the patient unless the lifestyle of the patient does something to disrupt it. After all allergens are cleared I wait three months and then have the patient back in to test all the allergens that were positive initially. There might be one or two allergens that need a booster treatment. I have re‐tested patients 10‐15 years later and found that only one to four allergens have reoccurred.

I have always been told to completely avoid foods that made me ill.
Do I have to follow this even after your protocol?
When a particular allergic food is treated you will be asked to avoid it for 25 hours. Once you have been ‘cleared’ for a particular food, you can usually return to eating it.
Will my allergies return?
I have had an opportunity to retest patient’s allergies 10-15 years later and found the work we had done to clear their allergies has held and lasted. HOWEVER….(I then remind them of the definition of Insanity: “doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result”) if you are going to ignore “My Eating Lifestyle Recommendations…Simplified” and eat at McDonalds three or four times a week, etc. then some allergies may gradually re-occur.
So, the ball is now in your court…. whether you want to remain healthy and allergy-free or …….
Remember, whenever you eat you only have two choices and two choices only:
1. You are either building health, or
2. You are creating disease.
Will i have to make lifestyle change as part of the protocol?
When I take on a patient, I take the time to educate them on all the possible reasons and then the options. We can only be successful if we are in it together. As your doctor it is my job to help assess your lifestyle and make recommendations to ensure long-term good health for you and success of my protocol. What I see in my patients once they start seeing results is a motivation and drive to make the positive changes in their lifestyle to help them reach their healthy goals. Here are examples of lifestyle questions I ask:
How well you sleep?
Are you generally relaxed?
How do you handle stress?
How much do you move?
What's your exercise level?
Are you taking proper nutrition?
Are you hydrating enough every day?
Are there any emotional triggers you are going through? What type of support system do you have in place?
Any history of trauma
Exposure to environmental pollutants etc
What is your emotional health/state like. This questions is especially crucial to the success of my protocol. Many times allergies have an emotional component tied directly to a patient's lifestyle.
Does this method work on all forms of allergies, even the severe ones resulting in anaphylaxis?
In theory, yes, but I can't make that claim. Because we are working on making the body healthier and the immune system stronger, we definitely work on the severe allergies as well, but I always caution the patients, not to test those. Anaphylaxis is too risky for me to ask you to expose yourself to any allergen that produces anaphylactic reaction. I still do the steps on you, but I never recommend intentional exposure. What we usually do find is that when accidentally exposed to that allergen there is still a reaction but not as severe.
Are there any products you still ask me to avoid after allergy elimination?
Foods in generally are safe, but there is something to be said about the deterioration in the quality of our dairy and the modification of gluten. I still recommend a dairy free and gluten free lifestyle, whenever possible.
Depending on your health conditions and lifestyle, I might make additional recommendations as well.
Why do we have to wait for 25 hours before consuming the allergen after the session?
In chinese medicine, it is believed it takes 25 hours for a message to be consistently communicate through the meridian system throughout the body. Hence the 25 hour wait.
What if my allergies recur?
When I accept you as my patient, I accept you for life. We are in this together! If you feel your allergies, have come back despite you following your new healthy lifestyle, you can come to me and I will offer free sessions to fix those allergies. **If additional blood work is needed,I will ask you to cover that cost.

I am currently seeing a chiropractor. How is your method different from what I am doing with him?
Most standard Chiropractic treatments are centered around Chiropractic adjustments of the spine, avoidance of harmful
activities and substances and perhaps stringent diets in combination with dietary supplements. Nothing in standard medical or chiropractic practice can offer the hope of permanent health improvement and freedom from allergies which is possible through the Wilson Protocol.
How does laser acupuncture (not acupuncture with needles) relate to allergy treatment by the Wilson Protocol?
Most standard Chiropractic treatments are centered around Chiropractic adjustments of the spine, avoidance of harmful
activities and substances and perhaps stringent diets in combination with dietary supplements. Nothing in standard medical or chiropractic practice can offer the hope of permanent health improvement and freedom from allergies which is possible through the use of the Wilson Protocol.
Your method seems very similar to NAET. What's the difference?
I learned NAET about 25 years ago and I have definitely incorporated pieces from it in my Protocol. But my Protocol also includes some of the best features from some other modalities I have learned over the years. These include Functional Medicine, Kinesiology, Jaffe Mallore technique, Biokinetics, Chinese Medicine. Science based nutrition and Chiropractic.
I don't live in Minnesota. Can you still help me?
Yes, I can and I do, all the time. You will have to do an over the phone consultation with me first on the complete history. If biochemical analysis is needed, I can send you to a local testing facility, that is easy to coordinate, I do that all the time. We will go over the testing results together and if a detox is needed, I can ship that to you in your state easily as well. In your first visit, we will do Allergy screening on Day 1 and start you Step 4 right on that very same day. Usually (depending on you allergens), I ask you visit me one week at a time, so we can tackle 7 allergens, per trip. I have had patients visit me, 3 weeks over 4 -5 months to get all their allergies addressed and then go on to lead normal lives.(For visitors from out of town, I try and make exceptions and make myself available even on weekends or days I dont normally work, so that they can get the most out of their visits)
Do you offer any family discounts. I have two children and my husband and I have allergies too.
Yes, I always do offer family discounts and work with you on your specific situation. Often times, I start work on one family member and they end up bringing their spouse or children. My fee for children is a lot lower. I find children benefit significantly from my Protocol. Let's chat and we can figure out a solution. The first step is figuring out what your allergies are and then we make a plan from there.
Will my insurance cover these visits?
Maybe. Check with your insurance company to find out if you are covered. An insurance policy that covers Chiropractic treatments and/or acupuncture may reimburse you for the appropriate amount for Chiropractic care and/or acupuncture according to the policy’s provisions. However, the services of our office are on a pay‐as‐you‐go basis. I do accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Payment plans are available. Your HSA or flex account usually pays also.
I am a doctor/healthcare practitioner and want to learn your protocol. Do you teach this Protocol?
Yes, I do. To learn more, please send me your information in the contact form provided and I can email you the specifics.
